Dear Cardmarket users,
Germany is adjusting the laws around mail delivery starting in 2025. Previously, letter delivery within Germany had to be completed within two days. Starting in January 2025, this is being increased to three days. We don’t expect these changes to happen right away, but rather gradually as the postal service in Germany adjusts their policies. For Cardmarket users, not much changes – just mail from Germany might be a little slower.

Larger packages that do not fit into mailboxes will not be affected by these changes but most orders on Cardmarket are sent in letters and not in larger parcels. Currently, Germany is only country we know making this change, but we expect other nations in Europe to follow suit over the next few years as the postal landscape changes. The Netherlands, for instance, is planning on similar changes in 2026.
