Response to Feedback on the New Shopping Wizard

Dear Cardmarket users,

We recently released the Shopping Wizard from beta, and with it, removed a feature that was used heavily by our users: "Sellers with the most articles in my wants list."

We have heard your strong response to this change and very much appreciate your feedback on the feature. It was not a decision we took lightly.

Cardmarket is a constantly growing platform, thanks to our fantastic community and users like you. As we grow, we closely monitor our performance, the scalability of the platform, and work to make sure the platform continues to run smoothly.

Unfortunately, the "Sellers with the most articles in my wants list" feature was particularly hard on our servers. This feature led to significant slowdowns all over the website, resulting in a substantially worse user experience and even timeouts for many users. With the newly released shopping wizard, we decided it was necessary and the right time to remove this feature and improve performance across the website.

Nevertheless, we understand the value of this feature thanks to your feedback and are currently considering our options for implementing a new feature similar to the "Sellers with the most articles" feature.

For now, we kindly advise you to use the new shopping wizard (which can be accessed from the Wants List) and the "My Purchases" drop-down menu on the navigation bar.

This tool allows you to choose two algorithms; reduce shipments and reduce costs. The reduce shipments strategy will still return a suggestion closest to the "Sellers with the most articles" feature.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter and kindly ask for your patience while we work on a solution.

Happy Shopping,
Your Cardmarket Team
